Poison Ivy/Poison Oak Treatment

These poison rashes usually start one or two days after exposure to the oils of the plant vines. This timeline may lead to confusion over where the exposure took place. The first signs of the rash are usually curved lines of red, itchy bumps or blisters.
Once the rash begins its symptoms, the untreated rash will usually last from 14-30 days before healing is completed. In severe exposures to these poison oils, allergic reactions can occur which can be life threatening and prolong the healing process for months.
